6×6 · 5 suspects · 6 clues

Positions

Every suspect sits in their own row and their own column. Work out where each one stood, and whoever ends up alone with the victim is your murderer. Every case is checked to be solvable by reasoning alone — no guessing, ever.

Questions

Is Suspectle really free?

Yes. Every case is free in your browser — no download, no paywall, and nothing locked behind an account. Open a case file and start placing suspects.

Do I need to sign in or make an account?

No. There is no sign-in and no account. Nothing is saved to a profile. The board loads, and you play.

How is this different from other murder-mystery puzzle games?

Suspectle is not a weapon-and-location grid like some other daily murder-mystery puzzles. Every suspect gets a row and a column, and the one left alone with the victim is the killer.

How hard are the puzzles?

Difficulty runs one to four pips. One pip is a short evening; four will take a pot of coffee. More suspects, more clue types, and longer chains of reasoning as the pips go up. If you are new, start with The Locked Library, or read the short guide on how to solve logic grid puzzles.

Is there a new puzzle every day?

Yes. Each of the three games has its own daily case. Past dailies stay in the archive. The rest of the files are playable any time — you do not have to wait for the calendar.
