The Bell Rung Out of Hour
The shrine gate chains at half past three and the bell marks it. On this night the bell went a quarter early — rope knotted up out of a child's reach, and a thread of shawl still caught in the housing.
Each row and column has numbers beside it. Those numbers tell you how many squares in that line need to be filled in. Two numbers in one line means two separate groups, with at least one empty square between them.
