The Galley Bell

The galley bell marks the sitting, and the sitting is on the roster. This one went before its hour — flour on a sleeve from a watch that was not the cook's, and the pot scorched though the log says it was off the stove.

Each row and column has numbers beside it. Those numbers tell you how many squares in that line need to be filled in. Two numbers in one line means two separate groups, with at least one empty square between them.

Tap a square to fill it in. Tap again to mark it empty. Fill every square the numbers call for and a picture of the evidence appears.

Four wrong taps and you lose the case.
