The Filed Scale Weight

Every weight on Spice Row answers to the brass stamp kept at the Money Stall, checked against the gate ledger each night. This one was filed thin on one face — just enough to cheat a fair measure — and turned up loose in a scale-table drawer after the lanterns went out.

Each row and column has numbers beside it. Those numbers tell you how many squares in that line need to be filled in. Two numbers in one line means two separate groups, with at least one empty square between them.

Tap a square to fill it in. Tap again to mark it empty. Fill every square the numbers call for and a picture of the evidence appears.

Four wrong taps and you lose the case.
